Research Interests

I am a senior at Michigan State University pursuing a degree in environmental biology/zoology and museum studies.  My research interests lie in a desire to better understand the connections between human, animal, and plant health.  I hope to continue on to graduate school to explore an interdisciplinary approach to understanding the interactions between health and the environment. The objective is to apply this knowledge to prevention and intervention strategies to address current public health and environmental issues faced globally.  I also plan to combine my background in science and museum studies to improve communication of complex scientific topics to the general public; presenting concepts in a digestible and accessible manner through informal learning environments.
